Social Media Outrage as Buhari Maintains Silence on Keshi's Death 11 Hours After Announcement

President Muhammadu Buhari has failed to commiserate with the family of late former Super Eagles coach and ex player, Stephen Keshi following his shocking death at 4am today, in Benin city, Edo state.

This has caused an outrage on social media as Nigerians have heaped criticisms on the president's media team who have a history of being found wanting in releasing official statements on national issues.

Nigerians are of the opinion that the death of a national achiever in the class of Keshi who served his country at will shouldn't slip under the radar of the presidency just as the United States of America honoured its boxing legend, Muhammed Ali.

Stephen Keshi, 54 who is one of the most decorated football figures in the country passed away today, 8th of June, 2016 due to a reported cardiac arrest a couple of months after losing his wife to cancer.
