Gov. Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has dissolved the Transitional Committee (T.C) Chairmen,in the 27 Local Government Areas of state,and also Commissioners.
According to sources close to the state House,Gov.Okorocha frowned at the way and manner various council headquarters in the statewas shut down,in observation of the Biafrain "Sit-at Home" exercise.
Though it was said that the Transitional Committee Chairmen has over stayed in the office,however hinted that the rescue mission governor,never wanted to remove them so fast,rather he planned for their reshuffle not later than July,following his announcement of LGA Chairmanship election on September this year.
In one of his tended appreciation on social media,the T.C Chairman of Nkwere LGA,Barr. Onwukaike Paschal wrote"Thank you Owelle for the opportunity you gave me to serve my people. I will always remain grateful to you sir. I want to also thank the commander of Youth Empowerment in Imo state, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu for being there for me . To the good people of Nkwerre LGA, I salute you all for your great and unflinching support. To my leaders in Nkwerre LGA, I say thank you all for your support. My friends, please help me thank the Governor of Imo state for using me despite my poor background. I will keep supporting him. Thank you my Governor".
