Head coach of Nigeria’s U-23 team, Samson Siasia, has added Chelsea winger, Victor Moses and Norway-based defender, William Troost-Ekong, to his provisional list of players for the 2016 Olympics to take place in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
It was originally thought that Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi, Watford’s Odion Ighalo and Ahmed Musa of CSKA Moscow were the three over aged players Siasia will pick for the tournament in Rio, but Siasia has broadened his selection with the invitation of Moses and Troost-Ekong.
Moses, who spent last season on loan at West Ham, is 25 and will be an option as one of the three overage players Siasia is allowed to pick.
Goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi has also been called up to the squad.
