PHOTOS: Anthony Joshua defeats Dominic Breazeale in seventh round KO to retain IBF heavyweight title

It took longer than many expected but Anthony Joshua knocked out Dominic Breazeale in his first IBF heavyweight world title defence.

The 26-year-old Londoner battered the American in the early rounds, picking his shots and avoiding damage, but Breazeale showed his impressive chin and toughness before eventually going down in the seventh.

It was Joshua's 17th knockout in 17 fights as he maintained his undefeated record.

After the bout the Olympic gold medallist admitted his disappointment at the postponement of Tyson Fury's rematch with Wladamir Klitschko, saying he had wanted to face the winner in winter to unify two of the three world heavyweight belts.
On the undercard at the O2 Arena George Groves booked himself a fourth world super-middleweight title fight by beating fellow Englishman Martin Muray by unanimous decision.

Before that Chris Eubank Jr called out world middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin after knocking out Tom Doran in the fourth round.

Re-live the action from an exciting night of fights below, including another impressive win for Conor Benn and victory for Dillian Whyte.
