See How Nigerians Blasted Amaechi After Kachikwu Left Him in Shame Over the Construction of Maritime University (Video)

The Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu set aside politics for the interest of the country to correct a myopic and twisted reasoning of the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi as he insisted that the government would do whatever is necessary to develop infrastructure in the south-south.

This view was as a result of insinuations by Amaechi that his ministry will discontinue with the construction of the Nigerian Maritime University because he cannot believe the whopping sum used in purchasing land for the construction of the university.

Kachikwu corrected such reasoning as he said you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Nigerians have reacted to the latest development, with many calling Amaechi a betrayer and one drunk with the wine of politics.
